Alexander McCarron Scenic Designer

I've been working in Art Department and fabrication for over seven years. Most recently I've been working as an Assistant Technical Director and draftsperson at the immersive theater company Emursive Productions. I've also worked as a Local 52 Leadperson, a project manager at the set shop 11th St Workshop, and I also make furniture for private clients on the side. I fluent in Vectorworks, Sketchup, Unreal, and Photoshop. I also have experience as carpenter and metalworker, which has helped bridge the gap between designers and craftspeople across the industry. Having worked in a variety of fabrication settings, I've also developed relationships with a number of specialty shops and vendors to help me build and source what I need to build sets in New York.
