The USA 829 Sick and Benefit Fund

The USA 829 Sick & Benefit Fund exists to support members who are going through a difficult time. According to the USA 829 Constitution, the Fund is maintained by the union to provide aid to members in need, and is administered at the discretion of the Local Union Executive Board. 

If you are a member in good standing, you are welcome to request a grant from the Sick & Benefit Fund by contacting Financial Secretary Michael C. Smith. While there’s no set format for making such a request, it can be helpful to include as much information as you're comfortable sharing about your situation. The more the Board understands your need, the better they’ll be able to consider your request.
