Cheryl Stewart Scenic Artist Cheryl Stewart Scenic Artist I've been a member of USA 829 since 1990, specializing in sculptural scenery. I really enjoy creating ornate sculptural scenery including architectural elements, figurative pieces and natural elements, large and small. I also like to make the styrofoam fly for immense caves and rockscapes. I have fun solving challenging technical problems, and I like to tap back into my background as a prop maker. Other skills include mold making, carpentry and motorcycle repair. I attended the NYU graduate program in Scenic Design 1984-'85. I joined Local 1, IATSE, (the Stagehands Union), in 1986 when I worked in, and eventually ran, the Metropolitan Opera Prop Shop. Skills Basic Casting (SA) Gold Leaf (SA) Plastering (SA) Sculpture (SA) Wallpapering (SA) Email Me Print this Page Your Email Address Subject Message Valid email address and subject required Cancel
