This session begins with a brief review of OSHA regulations for respiratory protection devices that actually are documented to provide protection. Then we morph into the peculiar world of lesser forms of PPE and face coverings for protection from the SARS-CoV-2 virus droplets and aerosols. This session will focus on the specific issues faced in the Costume Department, including recommendations for working with soft goods and suggested guidelines for the Costume Industry to help prevent the spread of the virus. Somehow out of all of this confusion, a way forward can be seen. Monona Rossol, Instructor.
