We're marching—in person—this year! Save the date and RSVP for the 2022 New York City Labor Day Parade, happening Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 (yep, one week after the holiday). You, your family, and your friends are invited to join us and our IATSE and labor colleagues and kin from across the tristate area for our first in person Labor Day parade since 2019.
This year's theme is Workers Leading, Workers Rising. In addition, U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh will lead the parade as Grand Marshal, with AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond and NYS Commissioner of Labor Roberta Reardon serving as Parade Chairs.
We'll be meeting between East 44th Street between Madison and Vanderbilt anytime between 8 and 9:30 AM ET. More specific details are forthcoming, including an after-the-parade gathering.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Josh Austin at jaustin@usa829.org. If you live outside of New York and there is a Labor Day Parade or March happening in your location and you want to participate, email Josh at the email above.
RSVP here.
