Workshop Description:

The Actors Fund presents a comprehensive workshop on “Addressing Sexual Harassment in Performing Arts and Entertainment” to help participants understand their rights and responsibilities as a professional. Facilitated by clinical social workers, this workshop looks at risk factors, effects, and the unique issues the performing arts industry faces in addressing sexual harassment. It will also look at how sexual harassment is defined under federal law and provide participants with resources and information on what to do if they experience harassment in the workplace.

Presenter:

Lillian Galina is from the Actors Fund.  The Actors Fund is a National Human Services organization serving all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those in need, crisis or transition. The Actors Fund offers a broad spectrum of programs including comprehensive social services, health care services, employment training, and housing information.
